‘Love means affectionate or passionate devotion to another being’, but does it bring reward or self-destruction? In this module the student is encouraged to explore a variety of representations of love in extracts by William Wordsworth, John Keats, Emily Dickinson, William Butler Yeats, Wystan Hugh Auden, Adrian Henri, Emily Brontë, Henry James, David Herbert Lawrence and Carla Debbie Alleyne.
