What happens when the one that got away comes back? Rachel is a savvy courtroom journalist living and working in Manchester. She has always wanted a second chance with her ex-lover Ben. After being told of a sighting of Ben in Manchester, she resolves to bump in to him — accidentally on purpose. After their decade-long estrangement, she discovers there are two reasons why it's never going to happen: 1) She broke his heart all those years ago. 2) He's since married.
