These books are designed to develop active speaking and listening skills. Each of the books contains a wealth of practical and enjoyable speaking and listening activities. They include sections on giving a talk, persuasive language, drama games, journalists' skills, putting on a play and storytelling. There is an end-section which helps the children assess how well they did, and also a glossary.
